NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2011 is the required runtime environment for executing applications and shared libraries built with LabVIEW 2011, without installing the full development system. It provides the core execution engine, front panel/user interface components, and the analysis and file I/O libraries that LabVIEW-built software depends on. Install this runtime on end-user or deployment machines to run LabVIEW 2011 executables and plug-ins; compatibility is tied to the same major version. Hardware device drivers (such as NI-DAQmx or NI-VISA) are not included and should be installed separately if your application requires them.
